You Change Your Career and Career Change Changes You
In previous post we have learned that career transition is a wonderful opportunity to reinvent yourself.
When you discover what you want to be for the rest of your life (I suggest you be yourself), when you know who you are at this moment in your life (yes, people change in every way imaginable).
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
I must say, change is a beautiful thing. I can tell you, it saved my life, my marriage, my sanity. Too much of something can be devastatingly monotonous and scare the life out of the prettiest flower (wink, wink). Everybody needs it and prospers with it, but not everybody is aware of this. People fear change and that is normal. Talk about it with your friends or family, you will see that there are all sorts of changes making people terrified of life. However, change is not a panacea. Be aware that too much change is just as monotonous as no change at all.
I remember David Bowie singing, Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes… I guess it is about something really cool and deadly, but I choose not to care. I take only what I need. It has a pleasant tune and a massive repetition of Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes and that is why I used it as my private Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes mantra.
Really, I had no intention of writing about change today. This just poured out of me. Yes, I need some Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes, approximately, 2 oz of it. Anyway, there is so much about change that this blog wants to tell you. I can guess that my change related enthusiasm is completely out of place and I will continue when I get to a point of harmony with my Yang self.
